When would I use Sounding lite?

Written By Gareth Lloyd

Sounding lite has a couple of different uses.

  1. When you are given a location to investigate, you can use Sounding lite on all the assets in the area. This will let you know what assets are picking up the leak noise and therefore can be used for correlation. You can also see the volume difference between the assets which helps to know where to centre your investigation around.

  2. Once you have correlated, you can attach the sensor to the sounding base provided and start to carry out sounding over the area to pinpoint the exact location of the leak.
